3DX Industries Completes First Production Run of 3D Metal Printed Components

3DX’s M-Flex™ metal printing system from ExOne, uses an additive manufacturing process, otherwise known as three-dimensional printing, or 3DP, which materializes an object-or mold for an object-layer by layer out of powdered material, a chemical binder and a digital file(1). The process is also referred to as Binder Jetting Technology. The ability to offer clients the option of manufacturing their products using Binder Jetting Technology provided by the M-Flex™ metal printing system will not only save on production costs but also will save time on the engineering and evaluation aspects relative to new and redesigned product manufacturing. The ability to make immediate changes within a CAD file, and have those changes sent directly to the print floor will change the way companies bring products to market.

Bij yahoo.com/ finance onder de ticker amavf vind je arcam (notering US).

Recent zijn er twee artikelen van SA geplaatst over Arcam. In het commentaar onder die artikelen kom je veel te weten. Er is een bv verhandeling van iemand die allerlei technische problemen aanhaalt van metal-printing (o.a. de onvoorspelbaarheid van de binding tussen de lagen). maar ook over fundamentele waarderingen. Ook komt sigma labs voorbij. Ik raad iedereen aan om dit te lezen.

Ik vind het nog steeds een mooi bedrijf maar heb ook mijn twijfels
Overschatten we 3 d printing op metalgebied niet te veel?

De markt voor 3D-printen vertoont een snelle groei. Vorig jaar nam de wereldwijde markt voor producten en diensten op basis van 3D printen met 35% toe tot $3,07 mrd.

Dat bericht de Financial Times op basis van een rapport van Wohlers Associates, een consultantsbureau gespecialiseerd in de markt voor 3D-printen. Die markt strekt zich uit van het printen van plastic figuurtjes tot complexe vliegtuigonderdelen.

Volgens het rapport gaat het om de snelste groei in 17 jaar. Motor achter die groei zijn grote bedrijven als General Electric en Siemens die 3D-printen omarmen om het productieproces te versnellen en meer lichtgewicht complexe onderdelen te kunnen produceren tegen lagere kosten. 'De bedrijfstak ondergaat een verandering die we de afgelopen twintig jaar niet gezien hebben', zegt Tim Caffrey, consultant bij Wohlers. 'Het meest opwindende is dat we nog maar een heel klein deel van de mogelijkheden hebben gerealiseerd.'

3D-printen is een techniek die in de jaren '80 van de vorige eeuw is ontwikkeld, toen de technologie voor het eerst werd gebruikt om producten van plastic te maken. In de afgelopen jaren is de techniek sterk verfijnd, zodat ondernemingen nu complexe vormen van metaal, zoals titanium, met een 3D-printer kunnen vervaardigen.

DDD: prachtige turnaround vanuit een bodemformatie.

Een koop vanuit een TA-visie. Met nog zat mooie sprinters in de aanbieding.

Bijv. long 39,90 tegen 12,63/12,77 en noem ze verder maar op.

EBM is en blijft voor een groot aantal producten de beste keuze, en de techniek staat nog steeds in de kinderschoenen.
Verbeteringen in productiesnelheid en kwaliteit worden ook verwacht.
Dus ja.
Mijn visie is hetzelfde.
Binnen twee jaar tijd is de koers van Arcam zeker verdubbeld.
En natuurlijk geldt hetzelfde voor DDD.
In twee tot drie jaar tijd gaan ze goud verdienen.

Allereerst is het verschil tussen ARCW en ARCM groot.
Op de fundamentele verschillen ga ik niet in.
Ik beperk me tot een benadering van uit TA.

Wat ARCW betreft zie ik bodemvorming op $ 12. De top in het begin van dit jaar lijkt momenteel een solide steun te vormen.

Wat ARCM betreft is het beeld anders.
Dat aandeel zit in een downtrend en toont nog geen overtuigende tekenen van herstel.
