May 3, 2012 ALU share count update
So far 23 persons mailed their holdings, 52% of them over the period becoming new shareholders.
Despite of this so far small number of respondees, data are becoming impressive. They yet seem to indicate that since the very bullish remarks of Mr Verwaayen on February 10 and the weeks to follow private shareholders must have massively accumulated into Alcatel-Lucent.
The 23 shareholders in count at April 25 on average held an impressive 102.908 Alcatel shares (!), sixfold frem February 9 when private average stood at 17.353 shares.
One of 11 existing shareholders slightly decreased his/her number, however 8 of them increased, alltogether their holdings went eightfold to an average of 139.871 shares.
Together with new shareholders total holdings impressively went twelve fold!
If this is about the bottom line for the increase of private holdings in that short period of time it would be really shocking.. and the question is where those billions of dumped shares came from?
With at February 9 a freefloat of about 1,62 billion shares, even a doubling of private holdings would probably mean that sellers (by far) went more short than official statistics on short positions suggest.
In order to get statistically harder data, I therefore urgently ask more shareholders to mail us their holdings at both dates.http://alcatel-shareholder.org/
