But what kind of windows and doors will homeowners buy? Manufacturers such as Masonite, Nanawall, and Marvin are thinking big. Here’s a collection of windows and doors with folding panels and huge panes.

Nanawall’s SL80/81 folding series is an aluminum-framed window featuring narrow stiles and panels with glass fiber thermal break for energy efficiency. The window is available in two profile options: The SL80 has a rounded profile, while the SL81 has a more angular profile. The folding panels come in sizes up to frame heights of 10 feet tall and widths of 3-feet-by-2-inches.
