ENDO conf will have positive impact on those doctors and PPS will react a little. However, tonight and tomorrow night Unterberg is hosting dinners with Insmed management on June 26 in Boston and on June 27 in New York. Let's see what they will polish their report after.

We are initiating coverage with an Under Perform rating and a $2-3
price target.
Tercica is one of the two major players in the short stature market. Its
drug, Increlex, was approved in August 2005. Though we expect
continued clarity into the progress of Increlex’s launch, we remain
cautious on its future prospects. Our cautiousness stems from
Tercica’s inferior safety profile when compared to that of its main
competitor, Insmed’s IPLEX. Increlex had a 68% incidence of
adverse events in its pivotal clinical trial compared to 48% for
IPLEX. The most significant adverse event reported was related to
hypoglycemic episodes in the children receiving drug.
We believe physicians and parents will be conservative in choosing a
drug for their children, particularly because it is intended for chronic
use. Though we concede the convenience battle between Increlex
and IPLEX is not clear cut, we believe parents will be far more
willing to labor through a thaw process for IPLEX every night for
only one injection rather than subject their children to two
injections every day for several years.
The company currently has no additional novel agents in clinical
development. It is running only 2 clinical trials with Increlex, both for
expansion in the short stature space. Anecdotally, we are hearing that
both trials are experiencing sluggish enrollment. Given that the short
stature market is by no means a sizable one, we are concerned with
Tercica’s current decision to not explore other larger indications.
The valuation backstop, if there is one, is a belief that that the
Tercica patent estate is strong enough for the company to prevail in
the ongoing litigation with Insmed. Even if one were to share this
belief, one needs to be concerned about Increlex’s launch trajectory in
the near-term. Feedback from physicians suggest that IPLEX is seen as
the superior of the two agents – having a weaker agent in a small
market does not a successful launch make, in our opinion. Thus, for
at least the next 12 months, we believe Tercica’s shares could
underperform the overall market – hence, we are launch with an Under
Perform rating.
If we take our 2009 revenue forecast of $54MM and apply a 3-4x
multiple, generally in-line with the 2009 revenue multiple of TRCA’s
peer group of biotech companies in the early stage of launch, and apply
a 25% discount rate, we arrive at a fair value for TRCA of in the
range of approximately $2-3/share.
Risks for Tercica include on-going patent litigation against Insmed,
continued success of the launch of Increlex, and the company’s inability
to differentiate Increlex from INSM’s IPLEX.

Wat CEUT dus wil is duidelijkheid verkrijgen over de acceptatie & penetratie van de markt...(...more clarity on traction....).
Dus gisteravond was CEUT in Boston, de plek waar het allemaal gebeurt, waarschijnlijk om een analyse te maken van de ENDO en toeloop naar booths (niet alleen van INSM alsook van andere biopharms).

...En dan vanavond om geconstateerde bevindingen te reviewen en te verifieren...Om morgen met een update van rapport te komen!

Een geweldige klapper zou natuurlijk zijn, als hier ook nog patienten aantallen in zouden worden opgeschreven!

We gaan het zien...Mooie dag!

Ik gok dat de update nabeurs komt, ik hoop het eigenlijk ook. Dan hebben we vandaag misschien weer 10 cent winst. En dan nabeurs het echte werk. Nou ik ben benieuwd in ieder geval wat het gaat worden. We staan zo'n 12% van de 2 dollar af, dus dat moet niet zo moeilijk zijn om te halen.

Nu hebben we een beetje hetzelfde scenario; de totale presentatie eindigt om 12:45...Het enige verschil is, is dat de tijdzone 3 uur oostelijker is, dus synchroon loopt met New York.
Voorbeurs zal er zeker geen PR worden uitgebracht ivm embargo.

Het lijkt mij, als ze met beursgevoelige informatie komen, dat ze voorbeurs moeten komen met deze info of tijdens de beurstijden zoals bij het laatste event in April.

Ja, en dan hebben die aandeelhouders van de 23MM shares hooguit nog wat verdiend door aandelen te shorten en nu in de rit naar boven. Dus 2.10-2.20 zit er volgens mij in. Misschien eind deze week, misschien volgende week of begin augustus bij de Q2 cijfers.
Gezien het feit dat gisteren TRCA met aantallen patienten kwam vermoedt TRCA blijkbaar dat INSM dat vandaag ook zal doen, alleen hebben ze er niet echt van geprofiteerd. TRCA geeindigd op $3.64 (bijna 25 cent lager dan bij opening).
