Luxoft chooses TomTom NavKit for its AllView™ car infotainment reference design platform
Amsterdam, Connected Cars, 24 June 2015 – TomTom (TOM2) and Luxoft Holding, Inc (NYSE:LXFT), a leading provider of software development services and innovative IT solutions to a global client base, today announced the integration of TomTom’s navigation engine, NavKit, with Luxoft’s AllView™, the award-winning* reference design platform for creating an in-vehicle user experience (UX). The partnership is allowing easy integration of TomTom’s navigation engine into the automotive infotainment solutions provided by Luxoft to its global client base.
“TomTom is a world-renowned navigation system provider and the NavKit engine is at the heart of all their popular products,” said Mikhail Bykov, Managing Director of Luxoft Automotive. “We are pleased to partner with TomTom and integrate NavKit into our AllView™ UX reference design platform. The integration will enable faster delivery of full navigation solutions and development of advanced automotive HMIs for our partners. Luxoft’s proprietary navigation technologies and our Augmented Reality and Computer Vision Software Framework make our navigation solutions highly adaptable to our customers’ needs.”
“We are happy that Luxoft has selected Navkit, our flexible and future-proof navigation platform” said Jan-Maarten de Vries, VP Automotive Product Marketing at TomTom. “Combined with Luxoft’s AllView™, the new product is helping to easily create the best infotainment design solutions for their clients”
