How to sell stocks?

I thought I bought some stocks of IAG but then went to sell them and ended up shorting them! Where do you go and how to sell your own stocks. Also where do you see where your stocks are?

Click on "Portfolios" and select your portfolio to see a list of all your positions. There you can also close your positions.
Be aware that there is a delay in the quotes of 15 minutes. Stocks are bought against realtime quotes, but it will take at least 15 minutes before they are visible in your portfolio.

I go onto my portfolio but all I see is transactions being processed and transactions. Where do I go to see a list of bought stocks and not just pending transactions etc. Surely if I find a list and details of my stocks I will be able to sell my stocks and not short them!

The site seems to have been doing some funny things over the Christmas period but now seems to be recovering. If you go to your portfolio you should see four tabs, one of which is Holdings. Clicking on this should give you a list of your holdings. Looking at your only portfolio, "BEAST", it seems that you shorted International Consolidated Airlines and then bought them again. That might not be what you thought you did.

1. Go to your portfolio
2. press trade next to the stock you want to sell
3. select how much stock you want to sell
4. wait till your stock gets bought
