HELLO IS THERE ANYONE THERE!!
Nearly a week since I asked for Eurasian to be removed from my portfolio. Looking at previous posts I noticed that Eurasian was being withdrawn from VT after trading on September 30. Why was i able to go short on Eurasian on October 7??
More than a year ago I asked that if a company leaves the FTSE100 and subsequently the VT game, why is it not possible to credit that portfolio with the balance of the investment in that share instead of refunding the total investment. Surely this is an easy fix?

The transaction is canceled and the money you invested in it, is returned to you.

You have no answer to the second part of my question! Are we to assume that this "fix" is not so easy?
