hi, do you know roughly how many active accounts there are just now? just wondering how lowly my actual standings are!

I tried to get this info some time ago and failed. It seems that when ever you make a daily loss, you're down in the 3000+ position.

Although the site won't tell us, we could do it ourselves if players were willing to reply to a forum when their daily return is around 0%. Anyone interested?

Further to my last update, I am 0.07% in profit this month and ranked 1100 so there must be that many accounts that has had some partitipation since they were created.

There will also be a few unlucky people who have made a loss this month. This is always assuming any dormant accounts are registering no profit or loss so sitting comfortablyt on 0%.

And just to chuck a curved ball into the mix, what is the definition of an 'acitve' account. One thats been logged into in the last hour or where some shares have been purchased and so making daily/monthly profits and losses without the user even remembering they joined.

wow i didnt think it would be so complicated! certainly the active/inactive figures would be interesting. my own figures seem to hover around the 5000 mark most of the time

It seems that the ranking isn't displayed correctly. It shows the total portfolio's, included the portfolio's which are not competing the prizegame.

The total number of portfolio's competing the prizegame seems to be 4,498.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks for the quick response. It would also be useful if, when this is sorted, that a definition of an active account is included in the FAQ's.

And I'm fairly sure whatever definition is made will lead to some debate for months.

Another day (17th Nov 13:47) , ftse down 1.71%, I'm up 0.09% and my daily position is 88.
