I have this stock in my portfolio, and can't sell it (as it's no longer in the FTSE100).

Doh!

How many others are in the same predicament?

When does VT wake up and fix this?

Hi Copycat, I asked the moderator - through this forum - to remove this stock yesterday... and today its gone and my account has been refunded. I suppose all those with African Barrick stock will have to do the same ... it's all good... a free game, that most of the time works okay...I think the VT guys do a good job...and at this point in time it's the only place to spend some money without it hurting.

I quite agree, VT is a fun way to play the share market.
Having played it for more than a year now, I am also voicing my frustration with the slowness of bug fixes (like trading in ex FTSE100 shares, or false data and the resulting confusion) and the relative lack of communication and action by the moderator. Surely, VT wants this game to be a success, for whatever reason, be that commercial, personal, whatever. The best way to do that is make the game fun and hassle free, true to it's promise. I suggest that the problems playing this game have something to do with the rather low number of people playing it. I surely hope that the powers that be sort out the issues, and communicate a bit more with us users.
PS: My Afr.Barrick Gold holding hasn't been fixed yet ;-)

All your stocks African Barrick Gold are deleted. You got the original amount that you invested added to your cash.

Hi, please can you also sell out my position on ABG as of the date/price it was delisted from the UKX100. Hardly fair to simply take us out as of the date we invested... dont u think?

I agree about the problems being a pain, but I do appreciate the potential for slip-ups must be huge. Having said that - I do still have an active account that needs sorting out - please.
