In the real world, shares eligible for dividend payments get that payment in some form, whether its cash into the portfolio or a cheque to the holder.

Is there anyway for the fantasy game to mimic this as the dividends are part of the growth process of share dealing?

ps - I've looked through some of the portfolios from the ranking tables and where shares have been held for the best part of the year, don't appear to have received any such payments, obviously I haven't checked EVERY portfolio.

Dividend payments will be done at the end of the week and are added on your virtual Bank account. The system automatically chooses to pay cash dividends. If you have a short position, you are liable for any dividend payments that may become due during this period.

Do all companies pay out a dividend or only certain companies?
