Dear Virtual Traders,

Since Resolution Ltd dropped out of the FTSE 100 you won't be able to trade the stock. We will delete the transactions of people who benefited from the erroneous stock rise.

why this is about trading so if the stock rose dramaticly,well done is that not whats its all about,I would be a little p####'d if a bookie told me my horse won by to far ???? so no money today! I had no shares in resolution so Impartial its bizzar explination pls davy666

Was the stock rise error IN virtual trader or for real stock (I think I checked Yahoo at the time)? Didn't assets really double in value? I couldn't believe it and it does place and alien piece in the puzzle, but IF actual stocks suffered an impact, why wouldn't it also reflect in the game?

THE POINT BEING MADE IS, RESOLUTION ARE NOT IN THE FTSE 100, THEY WERE RELEGATED IN MARCH.
SO THE GAINS HAPPENED IN THE 250 NOT THE 100.

you dont do this for a living, if you did you would have known that resolution were not in the ftse 100, so dont come away with that.

and why would you be playing a game wouldnt you be more worried about your portfolio.

you got awful defensive when i said do your homework, because you were wrong.

if you were a good trader you wouldnt mind being wrong, good traders are wrong a lot of the time but can capitalize from good gains when they are right.

From what I understand the recent huge price increase for RSL was caused by a stock consolidation that happened shortly before a rights issue. I think the consolidation reduced the number of shares and will have increased the price. I don't think the huge gains shown by some people playing this game at the time of the consolidation were correct as the number of shares they held should have been reduced.

That sounds valid matt, its the opposite of a stock split, so it does effect the price per share.

dave envy and jealousy get you know where in life.

getting a prize is not the end of the world,

jammie you did very well to win and I congratulate you vt should keep to what they said and award you the prize you deserve,my point is swearing and and shouting is not acceptable life is full of knocks and turns,so I hope your prize turns up soon if not congratulte yourself out of over 1000 people you returned the biggest profit in the market,that is better than any prize and you should take pride in that d666

I still have stupid resolution shares pulling me down! Can they be removed, it's annoying, especially at the start of the new month. I want to spend some cash!
