EUNETWORKS DEPLOYS CONTENT DELIVERY SOLUTION FOR ENDEMOL HIGH PERFORMANCE PLATFORM FOR TV PRODUCTION COMPANY

Amsterdam, The Netherlands- 12 March 2007–euNetworks, (SGX: H23.SI), owner and operator of Europe’s highest capacity fiber network and provider of mission critical infrastructure and services, today announced that it has signed an agreement with Endemol, one of Europe’s largest television production companies. Under the terms of the agreement euNetworks will deploy a high availability integrated colocation and private fiber network solution. The solution comprises a private fiber network, linking multiple production sites to euNetworks high-power density datacenter, establishing a twin facility datacenter solution for assured business continuity. Endemol is the largest independent television producer in the Netherlands, producing some of the most creative and market-driven content for television and other audiovisual platforms. As a market leader, Endemol required the highest levels of availability, security and redundancy in their communications and business continuity solution to distribute and back up ever increasing volumes of data and video content. In order to meet these criteria and future proof the solution, euNetworks deployed a private fiber network redundantly connecting multiple production sites throughout the Netherlands, extending into the Media Gateway in Hilversum. EuNetworks extended their private fiber network into the Media Gateway, the central hub for all content owners and distributors including broadcasters, ISP's, carriers, and cable companies, to connect all of Endemol’s production sites. Supporting the secure transport of the content, Endemol required a solution to ensure business continuity 24 x 7, achieved by co-locating in euNetworks high power density datacenter and connecting to Endemol’s Alsmeer facility via dedicated fiber.

Mijn dank Yellowww, mijn dank voor de plaatsing van dit uiterst interessante en belangwekkende nieuws.
Ik ben de overtuiging toegedaan dat de aandeelhouders in Via hiermee weer helemaal up to date zijn geinformeerd en aldus hun beslissingen inzake hun Via beleggingen op fundamentele gronden kunnen onderbouwen.
