Eigenijk zijn ze waardeloos bezig.
Vanaf augiustus 2005 hebben ze 500 miljoen aandelen ingekocht voor een bedrag van ongeveer USD 18 miljard.
Dat is USD 8 miljard per jaar gemiddeld.
Waardeloos inkoopprogramma.
Waardeloos bedrijf.
Verdienen dit jaar USD 30 miljard .
Zijn USD 250 miljard waard.
Keren 9 miljard dividend uit.
Kopen voor 6 miljard aandelen in dit jaar.
Houden nog 15 miljard over om toe te voegen aan het eigen vermogen.
Blijf een waardeloos bedrijf.

Totale performance dit jaar inclusief dividend plus minus 10%.
Ik blijf lekker zitten op mijn aandelen.

Ben jij geboren in 1348 Martin??? Flink over de datum dus! Geen wonder dat je zulke onzin uitkraamt! Ik las een bericht van je in de koffiekamer met als strekking: 'ik vind dat het management goed bezig is bij RDS! De Alzheimer was inderdaad long overdue bij jou (geboren in 1348). Kijk maar eens naar het lange termijnplaatje van RDS versus Total, Chevron, Conocophilips, exxon mobil, Statoil om van petrochina en petrobras maar te zwijgen. Ald je deze grafieken bekijkt dan zie je hoe goed dat management van jou bezig is geweest! Maar ja, jij zult binnenkoort dan waarschijnlijk toch wel je laatste adem uitblazen! Geen wonder dat relatieve performance t.o.v. peers je niet interesseert! Gegroet!

Misschien trek je wel de verkeerde conclussie Poeptonnenwasser, 1348 is maar een getal. En alleen een aandeleninkoopprogramma zegt nog niks over een aandeel. RDS blijft natuurlijk gewoon een mooi aandeel.

RDS buybacks to continue in close period

Royal Dutch Shell plc announces that it will undertake an irrevocable,
non-discretionary programme to purchase 'A' Shares, for cancellation, during
its fourth quarter results close period, which commences on 1 January 2008 and is up to and including the 31 January 2008.

Any purchases will be effected within certain pre-set parameters and in
accordance with the Company's general authority to repurchase shares and
Chapter 12 of the UK Listing Rules. The maximum price paid per share will be
limited to 5% above the average market value of the Company's equity shares for the 5 business days prior to the day any purchase is made.

Dankzij de wetgeving kunnen ze maar maximaal tot 5% boven gemiddelde kopen. Lang leve de wet.
