What's the problem with you?

You really don't understand that 'preliminary intervals' are always getting narrow (and their location becomes more clear) when you are approaching the event (?) Actually it's trivial --> the 'resolution' is always improving (especially when you deal with 'pdf').

If you really do NOT understand, then just do the following exercise: take a look, for instance, at the picture (let's say, 'nice painting') from the distance of ~20 m, and then again from the distance of ~2 m.

Just try to check then in which case you saw 'small details' better ... (assuming you don't need glasses, of cource).

(that's why a big 'nice painting' you better should observe & enjoy from the distance...., though it's just different from the 'trading objectives')
