Altijd leuk om even te kijken welke feiten er vandaag weer verdraaid worden. Ach, er zijn in totaal 60 miljoen TomTom devices? Tuurlijk niet, uit het jaar verslag 2011:

We are particularly proud to say that we sold our 60 millionth navigation solution this year

Maar goed, volgens Inspirator doen ook de devices die vanaf het allereerste begin verkocht werden het nog. Misschien is dat dan wel het probleem van TomTom, dingen maken die veel te lang meegaan.

Idd gaan de pnd's van TT veel te lang mee... Veel kopers nemen de veranderingen in het wegennet e.d. met een korreltje zout en zien het wel waar de pnd strand of juist een nieuwe route kiest.... een groot gedeelte gelooft het wel en gaat door met zijn oude pndietje ;-) Ik spreek ook uit eigen ervaring maar nu TT op Iphone komt voor weinig en, ik denk ook HD traffic wordt het wel heel interessant om een houdertje te kopen en een (goedkoop) HD traffic contractje af te sluiten.........
Het Apple contract kan de vervangingsmarkt voor PND's een boost geven !
