Iemand enige idee wat dit nieuws betrekking heeft op KLM?

MOSCOW -(Dow Jones)- Russia's largest airline, state-controlled OAO Aeroflot (AFLT.RS), is no longer interested in buying carriers outside its home market, the company's Chief Executive said Friday.
Vitaly Saveliev was appointed CEO last year, replacing Valery Okulov, under whose leadership the company had considered buying stakes in Alitalia SpA (AZA.MI), Austrian Airlines (AUA-VI) and Serbia's JAT Airways. Saveliev said that those proposals never made "strategic sense."
"I don't see the point in buying minority stakes in foreign companies," Saveliev told foreign journalists at a meeting in Moscow, adding that the country's flag carrier ought to concentrate on growing its share of the domestic market.
"In order to be leader in the world, you need to be leader at home," he said, noting that Air France-KLM (AF.FR) carriers more than half of passengers within France, whereas Aeroflot flies just over a quarter of Russian travelers.
Aeroflot recently took a big step toward growing that share, when it assumed management control of six regional Russian airlines. However, Saveliev said Aeroflot hasn't yet agreed on how to structure the deal with Rostekhnologii, the state holding that currently owns the regional carriers.
He noted that the airline might have been able to pay Rostekhnologii using its own shares, but that currently is impossible since Aeroflot's largest private shareholder, Alexander Lebedev, was no longer willing to sell his remaining 22% stake back to the company.
When asked how much the regional airlines were worth, Saveliev made a zero sign with his fingers, but later said that any buyer could make money by selling off non-core assets, and that their main businesses might gain value as part of Aeroflot.
"These are assets with lots of problems," he said. "We hope to keep all (six companies) ... but we need to know if there are any skeletons in the cupboard," he added.

PARIJS (Dow Jones)--De Frans-Nederlandse luchtvaartgroep Air France-KLM heeft zondag ontkend zijn vrachtvloot af te willen stoten om zijn cargo-activiteiten te consolideren met de passagiersactiviteiten.
"Er zijn geen plannen om onze vloot vrachtvliegtuigen van de hand te doen", meldde een woordvoerster zondag aan Dow Jones Nieuwsdienst.
Op basis van bronnen bij de vakbond meldde de Franse krant Le Figaro zondag dat de luchtvaartmaatschappij overweegt zijn cargo-activiteiten voort te zetten met behulp van passagiersvliegtuigen. Eerder verminderde de luchtvaarder zijn vloot vrachtvliegtuigen reeds tot vijf vliegtuigen.
De vloot vrachtvliegtuigen is momenteel verantwoordelijk voor 26% van het totale vrachtverkeer van de luchtvaarder, tegenover 47% vier jaar geleden.

Russische vliegmaatschappij heeft ca kwart van "thuismarkt" in handen.
Airfrance-KLM heeft ca de helft van hun "thuismarkt" in handen.
De russische maatschappij wil daar ook naartoe.
om wereldwijd te groeien vinden ze het belangrijk om eerst groot te worden in eigen land.
reden? I don`t know....

voor KLM toch leuk dat een andere maatschappij hetzelfde wil als KLM...

Zie het niet terug in de koers vandaag, maar zou nog wel goed komen straks
