BE Semiconductor Industries Announces Share Repurchase
BE Semiconductor Industries N.V. a leading manufacturer of assembly equipment for the semiconductor industry, today announced that it repurchased 100,000 of its shares on July 16, 2007 at a weighted average price of 4.868 for a total amount of 486,800. For the execution of the share repurchase program, Besi entered into a forward purchase agreement with Fortis Bank (Nederland) NV. The share repurchase represents the second under a buy back program announced on February 27, 2007 according to which the Company may repurchase up to a maximum of 1.0 million shares. Under the program, the Company has repurchased to date a total of 255,000 shares at a weighted average price of 4.8729 for a total amount of 1,242,580.

BESI koopt 100.000 eigen aandelen voor EUR486.800

AMSTERDAM (Dow Jones)--BE Semiconductor Industries nv (BESI) heeft 100.000 eigen aandelen ingekocht voor een gemiddelde prijs van EUR4,868, meldt de toeleverancier voor de chipindustrie dinsdag.

De aandeleninkoop is onderdeel van het op 27 februari jongstleden aangekondigde programma. In totaal zal BESI maximaal 1 miljoen eigen aandelen inkopen.

Tot op heden heeft het concern in totaal 255.000 eigen aandelen ingekocht voor een bedrag van EUR1,2 miljoen.
