The company is poised for further scientific, technological and new product development and additional commercial roll-outs. The company is growing quickly and as a result of this growth we are currently looking for a (Sr.) Director of Human Resources for the U.S.A.
The US Director of Human Resources – will lead a wide range of HR services and partnerships to support the initiatives and strategic goals of the organization. This position will be responsible for partnering with executives and the business to formulate and execute plans around optimizing structure, people, systems and processes.
This position will oversee the US HR department and responsibilities including but not limited to: HR policies and procedures, benefits, recruiting, company culture and other HR activities. This role will be integral in partnering with the EU HR organization in developing cohesiveness and consistency across the global organization.
This position will report to the Global Human Resources organization in Leiden, The Netherlands. In working with the Global HR Team, this position will act as a change agent to the US business units; implement processes and approaches to prepare the organization for ongoing change and transformation. This position will be key in working with the Global HR team to bring corporate synergies across the company. Will oversee planning, development, implementation, evaluation, and communication of all US employee-related programs and activities. Conducts ER and/or leadership training programs, as required.
Areas of Responsibility
Lead and supervise multiple HR business areas that include workforce planning, performance management, compensation & benefits, HR operations and HR systems.
Consult with business leaders, translating the strategic goals of the business into actionable people plans.
Ensure that HR programs and associated processes are aligned with the organizational goals and are well executed.
Solve simple to complex HR problems, identifying trends early, mapping out solutions, and executing against the best solutions for the business.
Responsible for vendor management of HR related contracts and services.
Responsible for ensuring that the company is compliant with all Federal, State and Local laws while implementing best practices related to HR policies.
Lead and participate on cross-functional teams focused on the creation, delivery and implementing of new projects, processes, or systems.

BA in Human Resources or other related field
10-15 years of Human Resource experience / 5 years in managerial or leadership capacity
Position requires 20% Travel
