Ten eerste zijn ze vrijwel niet te onderscheiden in stijl. Ze bieden drie identieke merken audiovisuele kauwgom voor de lege geest. Ten tweede zijn ze zo ingericht dat ze perfect functioneren als echokamers voor politici en een klein clubje deskundologen. Ten derde zijn ze fixed. Doorgestoken kaart.

The New York Times publiceert een anonieme column. Het zou om een senior stafmedewerker uit het Witte Huis gaan. Wie, wordt niet vermeld. De betrouwbaarheid van de boodschapper -en van de boodschap- wordt niet vermeld.

Het kan derhalve Fake News zijn. Maar juicy is het zeker :

ALS het waar is, dan zal de NYT natuurlijk geheel achter de bedoelingen en werk van die groep staan. Dan is het allerdomste wat ze kunnen doen, is dit wereldkundig maken. Ze hebben liever 5 minuten aandacht voor hun eigen ego dan werkelijk te doen wat zij denken dat het beste is voor het land. Wat dat betreft zijn ze net zo erg, zo niet erger dan Trump. Hypocriete zooi.
